The BHQ AI Symptom Checker Integration is a feature that enhances the doctor appointment process when users book through the Bangkok Hospital's website or mobile app. Powered by Agnos Health's AI Symptom Checker, this feature helps patients identify the most likely conditions and recommends the most suitable specialists for their needs.

Background

Agnos Health is a tech startup that utilizes advanced technology to improve access to healthcare for Thai people. The company has partnered with Bangkok Hospital to provide its AI Symptom Checker product, a tool that uses AI to suggest the most likely and accurate diseases based on patient responses to a questionnaire. The AI then generates a list of potential conditions and recommended solutions.

For patients who are unsure about their condition and which doctor to consult, the integration of Agnos Health’s technology with the hospital’s appointment system helps guide patients in making more informed decisions by recommending the most suitable specialist based on their symptoms.

Problem Issue

Due to the issue where some patients, unsure about their condition, prefer to book appointments with specific doctors but may not personally know them, the old process allowed patients to either choose a specialist on their own or select a clinic, which would then assign a random doctor. If patients were unable to clearly define their symptoms or conditions, they often found it difficult to choose the right doctor or clinic. To resolve this, Agnos Health’s AI Symptom Checker helps by identifying the patient's symptoms and recommends the most appropriate doctors, making the process more straightforward and personalized.

Problem Statement

How Might We solve the random doctor selecting in the making appointment process.

By designing the feature that can help users  to identify the patients’ symptoms and recommend the most suitable doctors based on those symptoms. This would allow users to easily access the healthcare services that are best suited to their needs.
